Accra, August 28, 2025 – MTN Ghana hosted another edition of Bright Conversations, a thought leadership session designed to engage stakeholders on the company’s operations and its impact on society.

The latest session featured Prof. Franklyn Manu, Board Chairman of the MTN Ghana Foundation, who commended MTN Ghana’s leadership for its unwavering commitment to investing in the Foundation’s initiatives. Prof. Manu described the company’s consistent support as a major source of inspiration throughout his years of service to the Foundation.
Prof. Manu emphasized that the Foundation remains deeply concerned about the future of young people in Ghana. He urged the youth to uphold honesty, resilience, and hard work as they pursue their aspirations.
The interactive session brought together members of the media, Foundation partners, and beneficiaries, who shared powerful testimonies about the life-changing impact of MTN Ghana Foundation interventions. Many applauded the Foundation’s sustained investments, which have improved livelihoods across communities nationwide.
The MTN Ghana Foundation focuses on three priority areas:
Education – supporting scholarships, school infrastructure, and digital learning initiatives.
Health – investing in healthcare infrastructure, medical equipment, and community health programs.
Economic Empowerment – creating opportunities for entrepreneurship, skills development, and sustainable livelihoods.
Through these pillars, the Foundation has touched thousands of lives and continues to play a pivotal role in Ghana’s socio-economic development.
Reaffirming MTN’s commitment, Prof. Manu highlighted that the success of the Foundation stems from MTN’s dedication to addressing critical national challenges. “While we cannot solve every problem, through collaboration and consistent effort we are making a meaningful difference in communities across Ghana,” he said.
