Bibiani GoldStars have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of striker Samson Eduku, as the club steps up preparations for the upcoming football season.
The 27-year-old forward joins The Miners following his departure from Asante Kotoko, with both parties mutually agreeing to part ways at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
Eduku is reported to have inked a two-year contract with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions, as GoldStars gear up for their debut appearance in the CAF Champions League—a historic milestone after their remarkable league triumph.
His signing forms part of the club’s ambitious squad reinforcement strategy, which has already seen the arrival of several key players, including Emmanuel Agyei, Emmanuel Fosu Kyei, Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, Barimah Baah, Edward Agyemang, Emmanuel Kontor, and Emmanuel Ankrah.
Under the guidance of head coach Frimpong Manso, GoldStars are set to participate in the upcoming 2025 GHALCA Top Four tournament, which will serve as a crucial preparatory platform ahead of their continental challenge.
Additionally, the club will face Eduku’s former side, Asante Kotoko, in the prestigious Champion of Champions match as part of their pre-season schedule.
