Accra, October 22, 2026 –
MTN Ghana’s commitment to improving customer experience and expanding digital inclusion has received further recognition from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG), which has retained the telecommunications company in its Hall of Fame for the seventh consecutive year.
The company was also named the CIMG Marketing-Oriented Telecommunication Company of the Year 2025 at the 36th CIMG Annual National Marketing Performance Awards, held on October 17, 2026, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
The awards recognise MTN Ghana‘s sustained focus on customers and its efforts to translate investments in technology and innovation into practical benefits for individuals, households and businesses.
Through improved network connectivity, digital financial services and customer-centred solutions, the company continues to support customers in communicating, conducting financial transactions, working and pursuing business opportunities.
According to the CIMG citation, MTN Ghana’s recognition reflects its consistent customer focus, marketing discipline and the growing adoption of its services.
In 2025, the company recorded revenue of GH¢24.4 billion, representing a 36.1 per cent year-on-year increase. Data revenue reached GH¢13.4 billion, while Mobile Money revenue rose to GH¢6.0 billion.
These figures highlight the growing importance of digital connectivity and financial services in the daily lives of Ghanaians, as more individuals and businesses rely on technology for communication, commerce and financial transactions.

Beyond its financial performance, MTN Ghana continues to introduce solutions aimed at addressing the changing needs of its customers.
Its self-service platforms offer customers greater convenience and control over their services, while affordable 4G packages are helping to broaden access to high-speed internet connectivity.
The company’s home connectivity solutions also support remote work, education and entertainment, while Adwumapa provides digital tools designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs improve their operations and expand their growth opportunities.
Commenting on the recognition, MTN Ghana’s Chief Consumer Officer, Noel Kojo-Ganson, said the awards were significant because they reflected the positive impact of the company’s services on customers’ lives.
“For us, these awards are meaningful because they reflect the difference our services make in customers’ lives—helping people stay connected, access financial services and pursue opportunities.
They also recognise the trust customers place in us and the commitment of our employees and partners to deliver solutions that respond to changing needs,” he said.
Mr Kojo-Ganson added that retaining its Hall of Fame status for the seventh consecutive year and receiving the Marketing-Oriented Telecommunication Company of the Year award again would motivate the company to improve its services further.
“Retaining our Hall of Fame status for a seventh consecutive year and again being named Ghana’s Marketing-Oriented Telecommunication Company of the Year challenge us to do even more.
We will continue to improve the customer experience and expand digital and financial inclusion so that more people and businesses can participate in Ghana’s digital future,” he stated.
As MTN Ghana continues its transition towards a platform-based business model, the company says its priority remains turning technological advancement into measurable benefits for customers and the wider economy.
Its strategy focuses on simplifying customer interactions, expanding access to digital and financial services, strengthening support for businesses and creating shared value for Ghana.
The latest CIMG recognition reinforces the company’s emphasis on customer satisfaction, innovation and inclusive digital growth as it works to meet the evolving needs of consumers and businesses across the country.
