The semi-final lineup for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations has been confirmed, with four of the continent’s traditional giants advancing after a dramatic round of quarter-final action.

Morocco continued their pursuit of a first AFCON title in 50 years with a composed 2-0 win over Cameroon in Rabat on Friday.

Nigeria wrapped up the semi-final pairings after defeating Algeria 2-0 in Marrakech. Victor Osimhen broke the deadlock following a cagey opening spell, and Akor Adams added a late second to seal the Super Eagles’ return to the tournament’s last four, setting up a high-stakes duel with the hosts.
