The Chief Executive Officer of Kofi Adade Foundation and former Assembly member for Kumawu-Dadease electoral area in Ashanti region, Hon Kofi  Adade is publicly recommend for a policy change to offer free senior high school education to students who achieve outstanding grades in the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

He suggests that students who obtain BECE results from aggregate 6 ones to 10 ones should enjoy free SHS .

According to Hon Adade, this approach would help the government reduce costs, as only top-performing students would benefit from free education.

He also suggested to the government, through the Ministry of Education, to reconsider the wholesale Free Senior High School (FSHS) policy, so as to bring competition among students and also improve quality standards

Hon Kofi Adade who is also a senior reporter of Oyerepa FM/TV disclosed in an interview with ghnewsday emphasize that to offering quality free education to high-achieving students, the government can encourage students to work harder and aim for excellence.
