MTN Ghana Donates To Office of Ashanti Regional Chief Imam

 The  telecommunication giant,  MTN- Ghana has donated food items worth GH¢ 20,000  and a cash of GH¢ 10,000 to the office of the Ashanti regional Chief Imam.   

The food items donated are bags of rice, assorted soft drinks, packs of bottled water, boxes of cooking oil, a ram, etc.

Presenting the items, Senior Manager of General Trade-MTN Ghana  Mr. Simon Amoh, said the gesture showcases MTN’s appreciation of the persistent loyalty shown to them by Muslims in the region, regarding the patronage of their services and products

” it’s MTN’s way of showing their support and love to Muslims as they draw close to the end of the holy month of fasting” He added.

He also described the donation as a ritual done annually, to identifies itself with every belief.

He wished Muslims all the best as they come to the end of the month of fasting.

Aside Ashanti region’s donation, the same was done across the Nationwide.

Executive Secretary to the Ashanti regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Ustaz Ahmed Seidu,  who received the items on  behalf of the Chief Imam and the entire Muslim communities  thank MTN- for their kind gesture.

He emphasized that this is not the first time MTN is  doing this and I hope today will not be the last time. 

Adding, MTN is a friend to Muslims because over the years they has been persistent in their support to Muslims.

” We will keep on praying for the success of MTN Ghana”, he stated.
