The Greater Accra Regional Minister and Member of Parliament for Shai-Osudoku Constituency, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, has announced that the people of Shai-Osudoku are set to benefit from the government’s Nkoko Nkitinkiti initiative, a flagship programme introduced by John Dramani Mahama to strengthen local poultry production and improve household livelihoods.
Hon. Ocloo expressed delight over the constituency’s inclusion in the initiative, describing it as a major step toward empowering local farmers, youth, and families through sustainable economic opportunities.
She revealed that the distribution exercise is scheduled to commence on March 1, 2026, at the Shai-Osudoku District Assembly.
According to her, the rollout of the programme marks a significant milestone in efforts to expand economic prospects within the constituency while promoting self-reliance in poultry farming.
On behalf of the people of Shai-Osudoku, Hon. Ocloo conveyed profound appreciation to President Mahama for fulfilling his pledge and demonstrating a strong commitment to practical, people-centered development.
She emphasized that the Nkoko Nkitinkiti initiative is expected to contribute meaningfully to food security, job creation, and economic growth within the constituency and across the Greater Accra Region.
