Thousands of supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Wednesday converged at Heroes Park in the Ashanti Region for the final campaign rally of presidential hopeful Dr. Bryan Acheampong, as he wrapped up his regional tour with a message anchored on unity, discipline, and strategic rebuilding toward victory in 2028.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, the Abetifi Member of Parliament stressed that winning the next general election would require far more than campaign slogans, insisting that success must be driven by careful planning, effective coordination, and a united party front.
Dr. Acheampong told party delegates and supporters that the NPP’s path back to power depends on deliberate preparation and collective effort at every level of the party’s structure.
According to him, his campaign strategy has been informed by extensive engagement with grassroots supporters and lessons drawn from past electoral setbacks.
“Leadership must be about standing with the people, listening to them, and guiding the party with focus and discipline,” he said.
The former Minister for Food and Agriculture assured supporters of his readiness to provide purposeful and strategic leadership, noting that the NPP must reorganise and refocus if it is to secure victory in the 2028 general elections.
