The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has appointed former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, as a member of the Management Committee of the Black Galaxies, Ghana’s CHAN team.
The reconstituted committee is chaired by Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Executive Council member of the GFA and CEO of Bechem United. The committee is tasked with providing strategic direction, ensuring player welfare, and preparing the Black Galaxies to compete effectively in continental assignments.
According to the GFA, Agyemang Badu’s wealth of international experience and leadership qualities will play a vital role in the national setup. “His inclusion brings first-hand knowledge of international football and player development, qualities that are crucial to the success of the Black Galaxies.
His journey from youth football to the pinnacle of the game makes him a valuable asset in shaping Ghana’s domestic-based national team,” the statement read.
Other members of the committee include Daniel Agboga, Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association, who will serve as Vice Chairman; Michael Kofi Oduro, CEO of Na-God FC; and Daniel Asante of Wamanafo Mighty Royals.
With a blend of football expertise and administrative experience, the GFA is confident that the newly constituted management committee will provide the right foundation for the Black Galaxies to thrive on the African stage.
