The Founder of McDan Group of Companies have urged the youth of Sefwi Anwianso traditional area to take advantage of the natural and mineral resources available to them and make good use of it for their better future.
Dr Daniel Mckorley made these remarks in Bibiani on Saturday 22nd November , 2025 when he was delivering his speech as a special guest to climax this year’s 2025 Eluo Festival under the theme ” Our Heritage Our People Our Development.
The colourful ceremony which attracted people from all walks of life including some paramount chiefs in all the 16 regions of Ghana and some government officials joined hands with His Royal Highness Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II , the Paramount queen mother of the Sefwi Anwhiaso traditional area Nana Ago Botwe II to make the occasion a very memorable one.
Dr Daniel Mckorley disclosed that as an entrepreneur and a businessman he always motiveate and encourage the youth of this country to take interest in something that can help them impact positively to their better future .
He gave the assurance to the youth and the good people of Sefwi Anwhiaso traditional area that he is ready to partner Nananom in the area to invest into Agriculture, Real estate, Hospitality business , Technology etc that will go a long way to create meaningful job opportunities for them for a better future than resorting to illegal mining activities which has over the years caused total pollution to most of the major rivers and water bodies in Ghana and destruction of the environment.
The founder of McDan Group of companies further pledged his commitment to support Sefwi Anwhiaso traditional area in the creation of business and he donated an amount of Ghc 200,000 to support the women in the traditional area to support them in string up their businesses.
