The coordinating Director for Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) Mr. Francis Dwira Darko, has congratulate all Muslims for a smooth and successful fasting period, prayer and devotion to Allah and the organization if this year Eid-ul- Fit.
“I admire the commitment of those who fasted during Ramadan'” This practice fosters spiritual growth, self- control, compassion, and provides an opportunity for renewal and reflection on one”s relationship with God and others. He stated.
He said Ramadan emphasizes adherence to the Quran’s teaching, revealed during this month, which should guide all aspects of a Muslims life. The discipline of fasting strengthen faith and devotion to Allah.
Adding that on this significant day of joint prayer and fellowship “let us be reminded them of the principles that we hold in common and the Islamic role in advancing tolerance, and dignity for all persons” He advice.
Mr Dwira Darko made this statement when he was speaking at the Regional Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslims Mission during the Eid-ul-Fit.
According to him Islam teaches protection for the poor and help for the helpless. Indeed, in this day , each Muslim is to remember his brother and share their joy , making it a festival of people who believe in the unity of the human race with emphay and care for the poor and underprivileged.
He also urged the to use the occasion to re-sumit their ways to Allah and play their roles as expected if Worthy Muslims. This means avoiding violence, indiscipline and retaliation, other undisireable attitudes that affect their kind progress and development, to enable them enjoy Allah’s blessings.
Undoubtedly, nation building requires the effort of all and sundry and therefore work together in unity to achieve this common goal.
Again call for the strengthening of the unity of purpose, that exists between religious organizations and the government.
He said to ensure that Ghanians everywhere achieve better living standards in fulfillment of the president John Mahama agenda to reset the country and must pray for the government and rally behind it
