The Bonwirehene, Nana Bobie Ansah II, has described the 35-year journey of Ejisu Senior High Technical School (ESHTS) as a remarkable story of growth, service and transformation, saying a seed planted three decades ago has now grown into a tree that has positively impacted the lives of thousands of young Ghanaians.

Nana Bibie Ansah II, who served as Chairman of the 35th Anniversary celebration of the school, said the anniversary was not merely about counting the number of years the institution had existed, but about celebrating the lives, achievements and destinies that had been shaped through the school.

He said 35 years ago, a seed was planted with the establishment of the school, adding that the seed had now grown into a big tree that had provided education and opportunities to many young people across the country.

“Today, we are not just counting years; we are celebrating lives and destinies,” he said.

The anniversary was held under the theme: “Celebrating 35 Years of Holistic Secondary and Technical Education: The Role of Stakeholders.”

Nana Bibie Ansah II said the theme highlighted the important role stakeholders had played in the development and sustainability of the school over the years.

He commended the Headmistress, the Board of Governors, teachers, the Old Students Association, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and other stakeholders for their dedication, commitment and hard work towards the growth of the institution.

According to him, the progress recorded by Ejisu Senior High Technical School could not have been achieved without the collective efforts and sacrifices of these stakeholders.

He also expressed appreciation to the traditional authorities, particularly Nananom, for releasing land for the establishment of the school.

Nana Bibie Ansah II said the decision by the traditional authorities to make land available for the school had contributed significantly to the provision of education and skills training for generations of young people.

The Bonwirehene urged students of Ejisu Senior High Technical School to remain disciplined, study hard and conduct themselves in a manner that would protect the good image and reputation of the school.

He reminded them that they were ambassadors of the institution and that their conduct, both within and outside the school, could affect the reputation built by generations of students and staff.

He encouraged them to take their education seriously, make good use of the opportunities available to them and strive for excellence in both academic and technical training.

Nana Bibie Ansah II further called on all stakeholders to continue supporting the school so that it could build on its achievements and prepare students with the knowledge, skills and values required to contribute meaningfully to the development of Ghana.

He expressed optimism that the next chapter of the school’s history would bring even greater achievements and opportunities for students and the wider community.
