In a statement made by Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II, Akokofe Krontihene, has shared his perspectives on what it means to be a true Christian and a traditoinal leader.

Speaking to Dominic Duut of Promise Broadcasting Limited after his enthronement and birthday thanksgiving service at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tanoso in the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, he said being a good Christian is not just about attending church on Sundays, but about living a life of service, humility, and love.

“Good Christianity is about doing good to others, thinking positively about yourself and others, showing love to those in need, and being respectful and obedient,”

Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II emphasized. “It’s not just about proclaiming oneself as a child of God, but about living a life that benefits others.”

Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II also addressed the misconception that being a Christian and a leader, such as a Chief, are mutually exclusive.

“Kingship is from God, and if you are a Christian and a chief, it doesn’t mean you will not go to heaven,” he clarified. “In fact, if we worship God well and lead with integrity as chiefs, it will benefit our families, communities, nations, and the world at large also heaven is a must and once we leave Christ like life.”

Nana Otiawere Frimpong Manso II concluded by emphasizing the importance of living a life that benefits others.

“As Christians and leaders, our attitude and manners will determine whether our actions are good or evil, let us strive to live a life that favors and benefits the entire people and nation, leading to stronger and better development.”
