The former  Minister for Education, Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, has donated an amount of GH₵100,000 and 500 bags of cement to  traders affected by the recent fire outbreak at Adum Bluelight  in Kumasi.

The donation, made on  is aimed at helping the victims recover and rebuild their stalls after the fire destroyed the entire section of the market.

During his visit to the scene, Dr. Adutwum sympathized with the affected traders and urged them to remain hopeful despite the setback.

He also assured them of his continued support and encouraged them to stay strong for the sake of their families.

He encourages the traders who have lost their properties by saying  God will replenish whatever you have  lost, particularly single parents  taking care of their wards.

“Keep being strong for your children, and they will make you proud in the future” He added.
