From Humble Beginnings to Steady Growth: Apostle Appiah Shares Journey of Heaven City Ministry International

The General Overseer and Head Pastor of Heaven City Ministry International at Fumesua Ko-Boat Junction, Apostle Emmanuel Kofi Appiah, has recounted the humble beginnings and steady progress of the church since its establishment.

According to him, Heaven City Ministry International was founded in 2010 with a small congregation of about twenty members.

He noted with gratitude that, although the church started from modest roots, it has experienced gradual growth over the years, which he attributes to God’s faithfulness.

Apostle Appiah also reflected on some of the major challenges the church has faced over the past fifteen years, particularly in securing financial support to acquire land.

He explained that obtaining a bank loan was difficult due to the church’s small membership at the time and the large amount involved.

This created a heavy financial burden, making repayment a serious challenge for the ministry. However, he expressed relief and appreciation to God that the loan has now been fully settled.

He further revealed that the financial strain affected church attendance, as some members stopped coming because they were unable to contribute toward the loan repayment, which discouraged them.

Touching on issues of division within churches, Apostle Appiah advised ministers of God and their congregations to avoid infighting and instead promote unity.

He urged them to come together as one people to strengthen the work of God.

He also encouraged church members to actively support their leaders, noting that ministry work is not easy and comes with numerous challenges.

In addition, he cautioned the youth against negative attitudes such as arrogance, disrespect for elders, and failure to heed advice, stressing the importance of discipline and humility in building a strong and united society.
