The Lay Movement Council of the Kumasi Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana in collaboration with the Association Methodist Church Chior presentts ” Robe Must Go To Town”
The program which will take place on Saturday 19th April 2025 at Mamponteng in the Kwabte East District of Ashanti Region is expected to witness hundreds of choristers from the various Circuits within the diocese, dressed in their choir robes and yellow T-shirts with a print at the back, ‘Service To God.
The four hours of evangelistic activities aimed at bringing “One to the Lord” was purposely meant to amass souls for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ through the ministration of the gospel highlife and hymns which were supposed to preach repentance.
The wonderful performance by the Mass choir could not pass a minute without drawing the attention of passersby and other traders of Mamponten.
The event will saw prominent and eminent clergy of the Methodist Church, past and present executives of the diocesan choir and others from the national level such as the Rt Rev Stephen Kwaku Owusu, Diocesan bishop Kumasi, Prof Christopher Larbie Diocesan Lay Chairman, Very Rev. Benjamin Anson, Synod secretary, Sis Elizabeth Frempah Ag Diocesan Chairman GHAMECC, Bro Isaac Acquaye , Connexional Music director, Prof Samuel Nortey, Connexional vice Chairman GHAMECC and others.
