The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the availability of international scholarships for Ghanaians to pursue short-term training programmes and tertiary education abroad, while cautioning applicants against using intermediaries in the application process.

In a public notice issued on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the Ministry explained that the scholarships are secured through Ghana’s diplomatic engagements with partner countries and are offered across various fields of study.

According to the statement, links to the available training programmes have been uploaded on the Ministry’s website, https://mfa.gov.gh/, to ensure easy access for interested applicants.

Additionally, scholarships received from partner countries are transmitted to the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat for award to qualified candidates.

The public was, however, cautioned to rely solely on official information from the Ministry and the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat, and to avoid engaging intermediaries in the application process.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further assured the public of its continued commitment to delivering quality public service.
